County Chairman Calls on Tyrone Support

It’s another one of those historic days for Tyrone GAA on Sunday 26th June as the Senior Footballers take to the field in Clones in another Ulster Senior Championship Semi Final. But what make this occasion a little more special? Well for the first time the Tyrone U21 Hurling team will take to the pitch in the curtain raiser also against Donegal in this year’s Ulster U21 Hurling Shield Final.

Tyrone Chairman Ciaran McLaughlin is keen to see the Tyrone support coming early to cheer on the hurlers. “It would be fantastic if people would make the effort to come along a little earlier to lend their support to the U21 hurlers. The U21 hurlers are a talented outfit and the game with Donegal should will be highly competitive action ahead of the senior football game”.

National hurling league division four champions Tyrone open their Lory Meagher cup campaign against Longford on Saturday, they built up to the game with a training session hosted by two of Tipperarys top hurlers in association with the GPA at Cookstowns Mid Ulster sports arena, included was Lar Corbett and it proved to be a worthwhile experience for all concerned

Target Express Agree New Sponsorship Deal

Tyrone GAA are delighted to announce that we have agreed a two and a half year sponsorship deal with Target Express.

Target Express will also sponsor the 2010 Tyrone Club Championships.

Speaking at the launch of the new deal this afternoon Tyrone County Chairman Ciaran McLaughlin said that he was delighted that Tyrone had secured such an illustrious sponsor in the shape of Target Express. He said that he “looked forward a successful relationship with new sponsor Target Express”.
