Mick Cushnahan RIP

Mick Cushnahan RIP

Coiste Contae Thir Eoghain extends its deepest sympathies to the Cushnahan family on the death of Mick, who was part of the breakthrough Tyrone sides that claimed the first All-Ireland Minor and Ulster Senior titles for the county.

A former player for both Derrytresk and Derrylaughan, Mick enjoyed many illustrious moments in the County Jersey. During his time with Tyrone, Mick played on the 1947 All-Ireland winning Minor team, as well as claiming two Ulster Senior Football Championship medals on the 1956 & 57 team that won back to back titles.

A great man both on and off the field, all Gaels from Tyrone and further afield will mourn his passing.
